DESCRIPTION:
Water Shield is a clear, non-film forming, odourless, deep penetrating waterproofer. It is a breathable waterproofer which protects the concrete, plaster by sealing the pores and capillaries of the concrete / plaster.
Water Shield will not change the look of your substrate.

Supplied as a ready to use concentration, Water Shield after proper application, reacts with Carbon Dioxide in the air to form an insoluble water-resistant treatment within 24 hours. Once cured, Water Shield imparts complete Hydrophobic properties, i.e. making it water repellent. It can be used on masonry, bricks, stucco, precast concrete, sandstone, limestone, precast stone, ceramics, aged concrete and most natural stone.

SURFACE TREATMENT
All surfaces to be treated with Water Shield must be clear from all dust, oil and stains. Do not apply Water Shield to surfaces previously treated with other water repellents. Water Shield is a one-coat system.
Water Shield can be applied to damp surfaces.

APPLICATION
Water Shield can be applied by brush, roller or spray.
Stir Water Shield thoroughly. When applying Water Shield care should be taken to complete the application in one process.

After application of the solution, allow the treated surface to dry for at least 24 hours to achieve maximum water repellence.
The treated surface may be overpainted after 2 days. New cast or preformed concrete and plaster to cure thoroughly before application of Water Shield.

If overspray occurs, glass or aluminium surfaces should be immediately wiped clean with a wet cloth before product dries.




       
       
 
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS & FIRST AID
       
Wash hands after use. Wear protective clothing, goggles and gloves.
Use in well ventilated area. When spraying use respirator mask.
Do not use on surfaces intended for food, potable water, livestock or dairy animals.
Eye Contact: Gently flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes while holding eyelids apart. Seek medical attention immediately.
       
Skin Contact: Immediately wash with plenty of soap and water.
Remove any contaminated clothing.
Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
       
Ingestion: Do Not Induce Vomiting! Seek medical attention immediately
